Matzah and Afikomen Covers – Variety of Models

Celebrate the Seder in style! The matzah cover, divided into three pockets, and the afikomen cover were inspired by traditional embroidery and textile decorations from the museum’s collection – and together they will make a perfect holiday gift.

During the Seder, blessings are given over three matzahs: the upper and lower matzahs ​​are “Mishnah Bread,” like the two challahs of Shabbat, while the third matzah is intended to be broken and eaten at the end of the meal: this is the afikomen, “a memorial of the Passover sacrifice that is eaten to satiety.”
