Bookstand – Temple Mount Arabesque Design
Keep your books from sliding off the shelf with this stylized bookstand, based on an arabesque design in a plaster tracery window of the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount. A photograph of the design, along with other architectural details, appeared in the exhibition Jerusalem in Detail, held at the Israel Museum in 2017. The exhibition was based on the research of Architect David Kroyanker, foremost chronicler of Jerusalem architecture.
