Ahava Earrings – Silver
One of the most beloved and well-known sculptures in the Israel Museum’s Art Garden is the sculpture by American artist Robert Indiana, “Ahava.”
This is a Hebrew version created by the artist especially for the Israel Museum of his famous sculpture LOVE. It also breaks the short word into two – two letters up and two down – in English the O leans to the right; and in Hebrew the identical letters ה sit on top of each other in a playful game.
Looking for a gift for a loved one (including yourself)? “Ahava” earrings inspired by the sculpture are a great idea.
The sculpture was a gift from Beverly and Raymond Sackler, Connecticut, to the Friends of the Israel Museum in the United States.
